A QUACK QUACK post...

My Cat. B inventory is already gone. Have just requested more.

U ALL are just moving way too fast as U are pricing yourselves out of rate reductions. :D U are saving me a LOT of thought however as the ship might be FULL by the time we even get close to booking. :spyglass:

Seriously U all enjoy that booking as that's part of the fun about making a booking. If there is space available when / if we pull the plug then we can join the dancing for the stars.

Gotta decide what mountains to visit first. That and trying to pull myself away from 14 Days on Princess in the winter / spring 2011 is stretching me like a rubber band. Gotta win that lottery now so its off to buy another ticket. :egyptian:

SPECIAL Alert ... ALL moderators have been placed on FULL Alert thru May 2011 to make sure that NO Ducks enter incoming flight space in NYC. In addition until then its ALL of your missions to make sure Calgon does NOT have a coronary prior to boarding that DAM ship. :bbat:

Jim - I'm smart enough to arrange, with my groups, that we are FULLY PROTECTED for fare reductions - as you were well aware on Sea Princess with reduction after reduction in fares.

BTW - Ducks are far more cognizant of air space than Canada Geese (no offense to Canada). They steer clear of aircraft.:)

Hi Mary Ann... :)

It's a good thing I read someone's post and in it they mentioned to go to HAL roll-calls forum to check on the Bermuda Duck cruise.. seems very hidden from general sight... would have never found this thread (no need to check on a HAL roll call since I'm not booked on one).

Anyhow......

Thanks for sending us the pricing info on this cruise. Fares are what I expected for a 7 night cruise... JoAnn & I will give it thought... many positives...

1. enjoyed our last HAL cruise
2. great chance to meet more @ddicts :boogie:
3. LOVE sailing on a ship I've never sailed on before...
4. no hotel pre-stay just a cab ride away
5. oh............, I forgot ... BERMUDA :duh:

Now I just need to see how things go at work... May/June is busy season and the powers that be might not take a liking to the idea of me being gone during that time period and enjoying this fun-filled activity...

Any deadline for putting down a deposit??

Guess I meant jokingly that the ship was already FULL (which would NEVER happen so quickly) and that therefore there would be NO further reductions due to it being FULL. Sorry for the misunderstanding of words as I know 1st hand that U are always monitoring for fare reductions Mary Ann and my bank account reflects that from a few months backs and Thanks U for it. :egyptian: Here is hoping that MORE fare reductions are on the horizon for the Mooda Ducks over the next 18 months.

Herb - I'm delighted that you and JoAnn might be interested. The only "rush" would be if you want a cabin that's in short supply. We're fare-protected, and if there are any decreases along the way that aren't for new bookings only, they're passed along to you. Our Duckies who booked early for our August/Alaska cruise received a number of fare reductions before final payment.

So you make the judgement call as to when to deposit. Remember that the deposit is fully refundable up to HAL's penalty period. We do not charge service fees or cancellation fees.

Remember, geese are bigger than ducks.

Quite a bit bigger, Earl. They seem to like Scottsdale - interesting to hear them fly overhead (and hope they don't drop any souvenirs)!

Holland America - bless them - and with whom I have an excellent relationship, just added more cabins to my Cat. B inventory.

:dance::clap:

... and they are NOT *STUPID* in doing so figuring with the smarts they Do possess..That you shall "move & fill them"!!!...:duh:

HELLO?????????...

:D...truly a no-brainer....

as it stands we are going to be on the HAL Jealosea ship..unless we hit Vacation Power Ball.but it's want to wish all those lucky enough to be with you Dear Paesana a Ducky time!!..I'll be back to see how the thread goes.. :spyglass:....Hugs..Joanne

We are on this cruise! Yipee! This time we will be going no matter what. I will not miss another Duck cruise!!!! Glad you could get more "B" Cabins
Mary Ann :D

And we're right down the hall from you. We shall, of course, expect you to behave circumspectly in all things Duckie. Can't believe I know a word that long! Mal's influence must be rubbing off.....

Earl - unfortunately, Holland America's PS's are very addicting.

Lisa - please tell the school district(s) that your family MUST take an "exploration" trip involving a 4-day absence, Monday being Memorial Day.
