Veendam Ducks and DITs!!!

We did find it strange to go to a boat Drill without your life jackets. the reason we were told was that the Paxs found it too hot
to wear and a pain to bring it down stairs and then have to carry it up stairs after the drill. The whole thing lasts about 20 minutes.
I think it worth the trouble. You never know!!! and to be in a lounge during a drill. That I don`t understand!!

The safes on the Veendam. To open the safe is it by a 4 digit number, that the way it was on the Westerdam last time (I THINK)
or is it by a Magnitic Card. Not that it matters , just curious!!

Muster Drill....Main thing and of #1 importance...you must attend! The rest.......
#2. When you are in Rome (or in this case aboard a HAL ship) you do it their way
#3. You don't have to like the process but you do have to do it! ... refer to #1

The end!

I don`t mind the drill, Its part of cruising.

Beryl,

If the emergency is at your lifeboat, then please feel free to come on over to ours. We'll happily make room for another Duck; even if we have to toss a couple non-ducks overbpoard!

QUACK - QUACK ! ... *boot* ... * splash!*

Good thinking, Beryl!

Whoops! Sorry Mama Duck, guess my alter ego kinda slipped oput there ...

Thank goodness! I was really starting to worry, I started shopping for a nice inflateable raft. I even found one that is in the shape of a duck! Just to throw you off a bit. Okay, guess I can cancel that order now.

Just avoid Calgon, and you'll be safe!

Mama Duck

Uhhhh, Calgon doesn't just have momentary lapses of sanity. It's pretty much all the time. Please join me in banning his "fart machine". Commandment #11 is "All ducks MUST be kind to all non-ducks - even if they're geese".

Mama Duck likes her Duck Crew to act like ladies and gentlemen (ducks and drakes) at all times...and then there's Calgon.

What makes one a "goose"? Just want to be sure I avoid being labeled one.:(

Drat. Drat. Drat.

Just got a notice from HAL that the Catamaran Champagne Sunset Sail tour operator has changed their policy. Customers must now be 18, or older, to participate. That knocks out the grand daughters (ages 11 and 14). So, had to cancel.

Suggestions anyone? We're looking for something for Thursday afternoon (after the Duck Luncheon on Aft Deck).

They don't scuba. They don't play golf. SunFlower won't do glass bottom boats (bad experience once).
