Do the drink cards need to be pre purchased? Or can you buy them once on board?.
Does anyone know the hours for the catamaran sunset sail ?.

A) You can either pre-purchase (and have them waiting in your cabin) or buy them on the ship. Same prices.
B) Catamaran Champagne Sunset Sail 6:30 pm, Thursday, June 2nd.

The Catamaran Champagne sail , maybe thats something we could look into as a group!

I had thought of that, Earl. Judi had found this excursion early on. I decided on our June 2nd deck party for the group instead because not everybody is at ease aboard a smaller boat. I believe this Cat holds about 50-55 people.

But there's nothing that says we can't individually decide on this particular excursion.

QUACK - QUACK !!

This is one of the two shorex that we are watching. The other is the Tuesday morning Sail & Swim Escape. Other than that, we're probably just going to check into what's being offered dockside.

QUACK - QUACK !!

If Hamilton is the same, Wednesday evening is the cruise night. A big block party on Front street--right by the ship.

Charles, you and Margaret met Cis and Magee at last year's A. C. Meet. She was the one that Susie (John(NJ's) wife) kept teasing her that she was hitting on John.

Janice, I just knew you and Steve were Mal and my types! :cheer:

HAL is currently offering four evening sailing shorex:

Tuesday night - 7:00 pm
Sunset Glass Bottom Cocktail Cruise

This relaxed cruise features great viewing of the fish and coral seen at the time of the day when the daytime fish and the nocturnal fish can often both be seen. The open bar offers soft drinks, beer, wine and highballs for you to sip on as you relax, viewing the sunset from different angles. The Coral Sea is a comfortable, elegant vessel and the knowledgeable crew explains the many differences between the diurnal and nocturnal reef dwellers as you enjoy the soft light of this romantic, early-evening interlude. Don’t miss the St. George Heritage Night Street Festival either before or after your cruise. This tour leaves direct from the tender pier.

Thursday - 6:15 pm
Serene Sunset Sail

Relax on this sailing excursion aboard a 51-foot Morgan schooner—a sailboat in the truest sense of the word. This leisurely sunset cruise takes you out into Great Sound and beyond. Catch a glimpse of the chain of small privately owned islands and mega-star homes along the shore as you sipping a non-alcoholic beverage. Return at dusk to see your ship lit up against the backdrop of the stars emerging for the night.

Thursday - 6:30 pm
Catamaran Champagne Sunset Sail

Put a little wind in your sails with a glass of champagne on this romantic and entertaining sailing expedition. Step aboard the 55-foot luxury catamaran Aristocat then relax and enjoy sailing along the shores of Hamilton Harbour, viewing the homes of affluent locals on the coastlines known as Millionaire's Row and Fairyland. Turning away, you’ll head out into the calm waters of the Great Sound to view a Bermuda sunset. Your course is set for a good time, with plenty of light-hearted commentary and live music by your friendly crew. This sparkling sunset sail is one of the best choices for experiencing Bermudian hospitality—a terrific way to end the perfect day and begin an enchanted evening.

Thursday - 7:00 pm
Pirate's Point Twilight Glass Bottom Boat Cruise

Step aboard a large and spacious glass-bottom boat for an enjoyable, informative and exciting commentary on Bermuda’s pirates of yesteryear. Hear tales of the island nation’s seafaring past—including legends of Bermuda’s very own Captain Jack Sparrow. Hezekiah Frith was the most notorious pirate in Bermudian history. You will cruise along the star-lit shoreline on the way out to the shipwreck. The captain will illuminate the underwater world with the boat’s sub-surface lights. You will be able to view the nocturnal creatures lurking beneath the ocean’s surface that are so rarely seen during the day. Next, the crew will point out Wreck Hill, one of the main pirate hangouts in centuries past. On the return trip, the bar will serve a delicious rum swizzle (included) and a full range of beverages is available for cash purchase.

Forever Remembered
Have been starting to look at the on-board indulgences. With the DGDs in tow, we were interested in the beverage packages. Currently, HAL is offering four, pre-paid beverage cards. A 15% beverage service charge will be automatically added to all beverage purchases and will be deducted from the value of the card at the time of purchase.

$50 Beverage Value Card - Purchase for $45 and receive $50 toward soda, espressos, non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer and spirits.

$100 Beverage Value Card - Purchase $90 and receive $100 toward soda, espressos, non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer and spirits.

$50 Non-Alcoholic Beverage Card - Purchase for $45 and receive $50 toward any soda, espressos and any other non-alcoholic beverages.

$50 Soda Beverage Card - Purchase for $25 and receive $50 toward soda purchases only.

You can use any of the cards for sodas/pop/soft-drinks; but you'll only be getting a 10% discount unless you use the Soda Beverage Card! So, it looks as though the DGDs will each be getting Soda Cards. Either thay make them last, or they learn to drink iced tea!

Note - From what I've found, if you have any credit left on the card at the end of the cruise ... *poof*

It isn't carried over, but if any of your original purchase price is left, it can be credited to your on-board account. (i.e. - Buy a $100 card for $90. End of cruise, you have $12 left on the card. Only $2 can be credited to your account. - If you have $9.90 left on the card ... no credit to your account)

The Beverage cards are available to be pre ordered either online or through HAL's Ship Services Department.

Welcome to Cis and Magee!

Marty and I would love to go to the Swizzle with the group so please keep us in the loop! We are on the fence about the sunset catamaran sail - still discussing this one but bet sunset around Bermuda would be beautiful. I am happy to hear that there will be a street party in Hamilton when we are there - our previous cruises to Bermuda have always been at the end of the season (good for shopping) & we were docked in St. George's - they do a nice small party.

Janice - I just spit my coffee out laughing so hard on the HAL Virgin comment - Warn a girl when you are gonna drop a line like that!

Mama Duck - looking forward to our nice luncheon and deck party!
