Vacation photos

Hey guys, was wondering if anybody here when they go on a cruise, & take pictures, do you put them on the computer & if they don't look good, do you lighten the photos & if so how? Inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks.

Maybe I should explain, do you use the brightness, contrast highlites, color, warmth & etc?

I take lots of pics and over the yrs have gone from a small point and shoot to just using my everyday iphone. The iphone as have other phones' abilities to take pics has improved to the point where I'm ok with the finished product. I use the built in controls to adjust very seldom. Usually only when dealing with photos of people.
