Tux on the Mercury?

I am wondering if I should bring or rent a tux for our cruise on the Ms. Mercury this January. I have always worn a dark suit on cruise lines like Princess and RCCL but is Celebrity different?

You will probably notice more men wearing tuxedos on Celebrity than on either Princess or RCCL, but it's really a matter of personal preference. If you'll feel comfortable in a dark suit (and many men do), then stick with it. Enjoy!

HI was just back from the mercury last week and a dark suit was perfect ......You will have a wonderfull time it is a beautiful ship and a great crew.

When we sailed on the Mercury many men were in dark suits and not a tux. In fact out of all the tables in the dining room where we sat there was not one man in a tux they all wore suits.
