Ok, I have to step up on my soapbox and throw my two cents in on this. I have read this entire thread. As with this subject on every board I have seen, the arguments seem to stay the same and the solution is still obvious. It all boils down to respect.
If a woman is lying fully clothed by the pool or if she is airing her breasts on the top deck, staring is rude! Get real people, there is a huge difference between an admiring glance and gawking! Most women tend to feel more self-conscious while topless; therefore it is my opinion that men should be a little more respectful in this situation. Whether a single man is 18 or 80 he has no excuse to be on the top deck other than to “enjoy the viewâ€Â. On every cruise we have been on there seem to be two groups of guys. The first group is the young bucks that can’t find a date. They think every woman is on the deck solely for their enjoyment and entertainment. My god, any woman who would expose her boobies must be easy pickens, right? If she is topless, she must want to put on a show for the boys! These guys love to pull up a lounge next to the prettiest girl on the deck, sit and stare until she gets annoyed and leaves. The second group is the “old farts†that troll the deck in groups of two or three. Every hour on the hour the same groups come up for their titty tour. They slowly walk the deck discussing the size, shape and firmness of each and every booby they pass.
Get a clue single guy, yes the top deck IS a public place and no, you are not welcome there. Bring your wife or girlfriend, topless or not, young, old, fat or skinny, pull up a lounge, say howdy and I’ll buy you a beer. Come up to get your jollies at the expense of others and I’ll blow spit-wads at you as you pass!
To date, I have never met a woman who was overly self-conscious around men with their wife or girlfriend present. I have also never met a woman who enjoyed the gawks and stares of the single guys. Most all couples we have met on the top deck are there to meet and enjoy the company of other like-minded couples.
Ok, I now step off my well-worn soapbox and start packing for next weeks eastern Caribbean cruise.

I think that most of us guys that stay around on this board and thread REALLY DO develop friendships and respect with the ladies here. At least I did!
