Take-on booze

Are we able to take on alcohol when we board? If not, what happens if you do??

We always take wine aboard in our bags. Never had a problem. I've read reports of people who get hard liquor confiscated. But I've never seen it in Ft. Lauderdale.

I pack in my suit case whatever I want to drink for the week and never have a problem. Just don't carry it on,

Store in suit case, Not in carry on. Can't figure out why you can buy it on RCCL and pay $9.00 for cabin use and Celebrity refuses. I would rather pay the $9.00 corkage charge than to do this, but until Celebrity offers the same option we have no choice. Except to pay $4.50 per drink or bootleg it on.
