I would like to thank all of you in the @ddicts community for your outpouring of support and well wishes during this very difficult time. Hucc would have been very happy to see all of the caring and love. Oliver and I are doing our best at coming to grips with the major changes in our lives and the changes still to come. The grieving is almost unbearable.

I hope to post more often in the days and weeks to come, but for now I’m going to keep this short and sweet.

Again, thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.

I was just thinking about both of you today & am so glad you posted. Right now your wounds are raw and although the ache you are feeling in your heart will, to some extent, last forever, things will eventually get better and there will come a day when you & Oliver will laugh and smile about the wonderful times the 3 of you had and the sadness you are feeling will gradually soften. Thanks for posting, I too often think of you and Oliver. It is amazing how a board like this one can make someone feel like a part of your family. Take care and hang in there and one day the memories will not be so painful.
