HAS ANYONE BEEN ON THE STONE ISLAND HORSE RIDING TOUR IN MAZATLAN? HOW WAS IT? ALSO DOES THE ZODIAC TOUR IN CABO HAVE TO BE PRE BOOKED? DOES IT SELL OUT? IS IT TOO ROUGH FOR MY 5 YEAR OLD? WHAT WILL BE NICE TO DO IN PUERTO VALLARTA?

Can NOT answer the Matzalan or Cabo questions. In Puerto Vallarta we did the Catamaran Excursion thru Princess to Xelepa and throughly enjoyed it. It was $79 pp thru Princess. Just got home last night from Alaska - Sapphire Princess - cruise. Had a great time!

We're planning to take the Canada/New England cruise Oct 6. Any suggestions for shore excursions?

Anybody know if it is better/cheaper to book through Princess or through local vendor. I'm specifically inquiring about the excursions for the Mexico - Riviera.

Local vendors are always less expensive. Take their price and add the commission for the ship and you have the price through the cruise line.

I booked a sea plane to fly over the glaciers in Alaska directly. The fellow in the seat next to me went through the cruise line and paid $30 more than I did for the same thing.
