Sea Princess Ducks and DITs!!!

we have had another day of dumper rain 11th straight .*sigh*.. sun trying to come out..I am off so it's OK..

June just about gone, another month closer to our cruise with the Duck gang..:dance..:)..Joanne
 
Quack, Quack Joanne Maw and Paw DIT reporting back from the puddles in Branson. Had a 5 inch rain storm the other night so we saw lots of water yesterday but it may have been wet but we just kept waddling around and had a great time. Didn't get t ride the Ducks but boy do they have a great collection of Duck toys--I need another suitcase for the cruise. Course DIT Janise brought the cutest bird houses to us which say " DIT (Ducks In Training), Weekend in Branson, June 27-29 2008. Jacque had brought some darling soft stuffed ducks, I had Duck t-shirts wait until you see pictures. I found a duck billed cap with big eyes and feet and the girls got all kinds of little Duckie things . Best part are the Quackers we got. Back on diet now so I can get into my clothes--way too much good sweet food--brownies, Oatmeal cookies my favorite and all the other things we found to stuff with. Missed you alkl and talked abt you looking even more toward next Aug.
 
I answered your Ramble on Q&A, Maw, but I'll repeat that I'm so happy you had a great weekend despite the foul (fowl?) weather! Sounds like our Duck Crew cruise will have a SUPER-abundance of ducky items as well as a fantastic Duck Crew on board!

Maw's hat is the best! We had water over the road in several areas on the way home, but it wasn't deep enough to cause problems. And yes, the shirts are perfect. There were LOTS of comments, and we were easily able to spot each other in crowds. The only bad thing was that it is really hard to leave good company.
 
Welcome back, Branson DITs!

We had a great weekend here. Yesterday, we picked up Colleen and Meghan and went to my Great Great Niece's birthday party. We had a fantastic time. The weather was sweltering, so my Sister, Nieces, Great Nieces, Colleen and I gathered in the air conditioned house and had a ball. We laughed until we cried. It's hard to explain, but we reminisced about my Mother and my Aunt and how the generations go on. We had such a great time.

The girls stayed last night so we could have a movie night. They were going to go home today, but Colleen didn't feel all that well, so we wound up having them again tonight and we just finished another movie night.

All in all, a dynamite weekend! :thumb :thumb :thumb :thumb

:wave well we had another rain storm, we are up to 12 days in a row.; here in the great Green Mountain State of Vermont...:dizzy..true Duck weather..and the humidity is just plain ghastly.. got to keep all those trees green you know..

at any rate we hope to salvage maybe 3 days at the end of the week from this pour down continual.. hope it's a good start to the week gang.. today endeth the month.. one more month closer to the Alaska Ducks sailing!!
