QUACK QUACK QUACK WOOF. Mama Duck went to the dentist today...Pucci (who is allowed to go with me) always comes in handy as a scratching post when the dentist is working in my mouth. During dental visits, I revert back to my chicken days.

We are having really bad "duck" weather here tonight :( Lots and lots and lots of rain! Will need the boots and Ride the Duck boat to get out if it keeps up at this rate! :help I am going to stay up until the storms have died down as the oldest
DD is still out tonight :( Yes, I will always worry :) but will they ever listen 8-)

Got to get off as I am hearing all sorts of funny sounds (pops and creaks =eek ) I normaly love a good storm for sleeping but not tonight =eek :(

Good morning, DDDs from central Joisey where it's a drizzly ducky morning.

Nothing much going on around here, except work! :(

Then again, if we didn't work, we couldn't cruise!! :)

Janice, I hope your weather has improved.

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

QUACK QUACK Howdy Ducks and DITS....we had a stormy night last night too Janice....Buck ended up in bed with us and when one bolt hit close, Georgie was off and under the bed. Today Georgie goes to the vet for his yearly check up. That's about all happening here.

[large]QUACK! ! ![/large] We had rain overnight, but looks to be bright and sunny this morning. Thats a good thing, as we load another train today. Another train tomorrow. Oh boy! Have a ducky day everyone! ! ! !

QUACK QUACK QUACK QUACK WOOF Duck Crew! Janice - and all of you in severe weather areas - I hope you got through everything unscathed. We're under a severe weather advisory later today for winds in excess of 40 mph.

Mal - cute video. Those ducks seem pretty tame around humans!!!

Have a good day, DDD's! :thumb <img src=http://www.uselessgraphics.com/duck-2.gif>

Quack Quack back from DIT training wish you all could enjoy these nice morning exercises in warm water. amazing how they loosen you up so you move better. Paw says most f us look like ducks waddling in. Now I have to get busy on some household chores. Hope we do not have any miore of those thunderboomers tonight but forcast sure don't look promising. Have a Ducky day all.

Good Afternoon everyone! It is sunny and hot here now and we are drying out getting ready for another round of
wet weather tonight!

Mal, thanks for the video share, definately some smart ducks!

Suer, we used to have the duck races here in an area called the Plaza but I'm not sure if they still have them.
Guess I will have to check into it now :D

Maw, are the storms as bad down there as they are up here? Lightening hit a huge tank holding THOUSANDS of
gallons of unleaded gasoline last night (they were figuring that it was worth about $9.2 million at the station!!!!!!!!)

Still have sick pups here :( but will be getting them to MY vet if not better by tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a DUCKY day!!!!!!!

QUACK QUACK We had another day of storms yesterday...pretty bad ones. Even with his "Chill" pills Buck was a basket case poor baby. It was clear when Georgie and I left for the vet but Buck was not happy to be left home alone and he took the molding off the door in the laundry room into the garage, once again. Georgie made out well at the vet, though he is getting a bit portly...weighing in at 30 pounds. Dr said no more then that and losing a few would be better. Next bag of food will be weight control formula..wouldn't hurt Buck either.

In Fredericksburg they have the Great Rappahannock River Duck Race for local charities....you "adopt" a rubber duck which has a number on the bottom. The dump this load of adopted duck off the US Rt 1 Bridge and the first duck to cross the finish line at the city docks wins the grand prize which in some years is a new car or truck. Lots of other prizes too.

Janice, I hope your sick puppies are feeling better soon!

That's about all new here. Hope y'all have a good day.

Good morning Duckmates! Another cloudy, soon to be rainy day :( Enough of the rain!!!! I know that I will be begging for
it in a few weeks but for now it is enough!

Thought I'd share this "quiz" with you. Kind of interesting. Not sure how true it is if at all but it kind of makes you think about things.

Denise I sure wish that they could come up with something to make Buck comfortable during those storms. Glad Georgie checked out okay at his yearly. Don't we all need to lose a little weight :D

QUACK QUACK Duck Crew. I'm glad those of you in the storm areas got through everything safely.

Mama Duck is rather flustered right now. I tripped and fell in the house about an hour ago - landing squarely on both knees. :( My Orthopaedic Surgeon has ordered me to get my knees x-rayed tomorrow and get my tail feathers into her office tomorrow afternoon. Please keep your fingers crossed. Both knees and one hand feel sore right now - am going to get ice. ::o

Oh Shipmaven, I am so sorry to read this. I hope the ice helps immediatly and staves off any bad injury. The best of luck to you!! =hug

Mama Duck, that's a BIG no-no!!!!! It makes orthopedic doctors VERY nervous to have their handiwork compromised. Is Pucci taking good care of you? Please let us know what the doc says tomorrow. QUACK, QUACK!

{ { { { Mary Ann} } } } } I don't like the sound of that....sure hope you didn't do any seriouse damage. Do what the Dr orders and I sure hope you feel better soon...and all is well!
