Good SUNNY COLD morning all!

The guys showed up with the counter at 8:10 a.m.! Thank goodness I set the alarm and was dressed! Ha Ha.
Had to move my car out of the garage and it was CHILLY to say the least out there.
Art moved his own car since he parks it real tight when he drives into the garage.

Lee: Another good reason to keep changing out vehicles...... you have to keep up with all the new features they add on the cars these days. Who ever heard of a "X Mode"??? I bet there are things on my car that I don't even know are there.

Congrats Celebrate GIF by Sesame Street
Congratulations to Mike & Fay on the new GreatGranddaughter.
Any chance of a try for a Great-grandson in the future? Hope you get to see the little one soon. Do they live close by??

MR DAVE........sure hope you are feeling better today. YOU ARE MISSED on here BIG TIME~
Kathi.... hope you are managing the pups and driving back and forth to see Dave. Take care in this cold weather. And wear a MASK while walking through the hospital!

Out of here for now. I hear some banging in that half bath. I need to stay away and hope it all works out!

Later gang.

Bathroom counter is IN and LOOKING GOOD! The 2 young men couldn't have been any nicer. They said Art could actually reconnect the faucets tonight if you wanted to. There are "clips" holding it up in the cabinet. Of course, that won't be happening. Art wants to make sure the Silicone caulking around the top and the glue for the sink are nice and cured and dry!

Now to pick out a color for the walls in there!
Always Something! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Just moved my car back into the garage and WOW it's CRISP outside. The Wind from yesterday has calmed down and it does help.

Later gang.

Just dropping by to check to see how you’re all doing. Nice that the counter has come and is in Kathie. One more thing you can cross off your “to do list”. Who ever heard of a "X Mode"??? Well, Subaru drivers for starters. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
It’s a beautiful, bright 24F right now. We did an around the block walk with Ava. We’re heading out in a tad to the grocery store to grab a few things we need. It’s tough because we’re trying to empty the fridge, freezer and cupboards as best we can.
The drywall is done! That’s likely it, for Dave and I anyway, until after we get home from Florida. Not sure if Jim and Gail are going to head down or not. It depends on Gail’s radiation schedule.
OK, groceries wait for no man.
Back later. You’ve all been warned.

The want to keep Dave until Sunday. When I questioned them, they didnt have a good reason. They want to make sure he takes all his meds. He already does that. Didnt know when you were in ICU you had an aide with you 24/7.

Yesterdays aide called me MA'AM

Have a good evening

Hi Lee, we had the large pear tree cut down this AM. I was starting to worry about it during the heavy winds. You are doing a fine job of being
Dave, keep up the good work and hopefully will get back soon. 1734129837114.png

Good evening!

Kathi, I never heard of having an aide 24/7 in ICU either, my Dad had a "sitter" when he was in a regular room but that was it. Has Dave asked you to bring him any Hot Sauce yet?

Lee, sounds like a full productive day for you & OGC guys. It's tough planning meals to not have leftovers isn't it!

Kathie, glad the granite guys showed up as scheduled & the project was finished in good time. Now comes the fun of picking a paint color! Looking forward to seeing pic's of the finished project.

Mike, my floaters aren't quite as entertaining as your's were back in high school. Mine resemble more of a little nat or bug I can see out of the corner of my eye. So far they haven't been to bothersome.

Last night was my first time of driving after dark since I had my eyes done, Oh my GOODNESS, what I difference! I probably should never have been driving after dark before I had the Yag done, I could not believe how much better I could see the road! Scary thought knowing I was driving around half blind & didn't know it!

Slept in till nearly 8:30 this morning, I was so cold last night when I went to bed I put 2 more blankets on, even Ginger was cuddled up with me.
Frosted cut out cookies this afternoon & put them in the freezer, haven't decided if I'm going to make anything else or not. Might make a batch of fudge if anything.
Work day at church tomorrow, hopefully it won't be freezing cold again.
Enjoy your evening all!

Thanks for the update on Dave Ma’am. I don’t reckon you can backhand me from Ohio for that crack. Can you? Can’t wait to hear he’s home.
Sleeping in until 8:30 Karen? That’s something I could only dream of. I’m so glad that you noticed a difference driving at night. Define “freezing cold again.”
Always sad to see a tree come down Mike. Even if it’s for everyone’s safety.
Yes, at about 1:00 pm we all signed the back of the last piece of drywall and screwed it in place.
Well, that’s about all for now. Have a great evening

Thank You KATHI for the update on Dave.
Good Dave is getting good attention and they are paying attention to him.
Give him a BIG HELLO from all of us.

My dear friend Elaine is in the hospital getting over pneumonia.
we all need to be careful when out and about. Wear your masks in grocery stores and crowds. Better safe than sorry.

We just got work another long time church member and Godfather to my nieces passed away this morning. 90 yrs old. Had a very good and long life. May he RIP

Karen: So good to hear that you can SEE much clearer when driving at night. And sometimes it’s just nice to stay under the covers and sleep in. Does the soul good! If you lived up here and had to deal with our 15 degree temps you’d stay under 4 covers until NOON! Ha ha.

We picked out the paint color in 15 mins after the guys left this morning and I drove over to Sherwin Williams and had them add the TINT to the gallon of paint. Next is Mr Art’s job to paint the walls.
Not tomorrow. We have Eric’s College Graduation in the morning, lunch celebration afterwards and Choir X-mas party starting at 6:00. Busy day for sure.

Lee: Glad to know you’re done with your part time job until Spring! Good luck with buying food on demand and need! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: :canada:
Mike: Hello to you and Fay.

Good morning from The Burg. More like the “ice”burg as we sit at 18F but feel like 10F this morning.
I’m willing to bet Dave’s missing his early morning trips to let the pups out to pee. And they’re missing him. Pet care. One more thing most folks wouldn’t think about that has fallen on Kathi’s shoulders while Dave is recuperating.
If there’s one thing that can change the look of a room Kathie, it’s a fresh coat of paint. But that can definitely wait until after Eric’s graduation today. Congratulations to him.
Here comes Ava wanting out. Since the morning temperatures have dropped she has no interest in our early walks. Can’t say I blame her.
Alright then, hi to everyone and all of you stay safe and have a wonderful Saturday.

Good Morning Wrabbits.

We were up and at it EARLY this morning.
Sitting here in the stadium (inside) waiting for the program to start.
They have good security here. You can’t bring in purses!
Jill had dropped us off at the door and I had to call her to come back and get my purse. Whew.

Lots of people still need to get inside here and find a seat.

Have a good safe day.
DAVE. Hope you are doing good and might get to go home. Rest up when you get there. Kathi we’re all thinking of you. Take care.

Good afternoon!
Kathie, congrats again to Eric on his graduation! Seems like he just finished high school a few months ago!
Lee, I always knew Ava was a smart dog, no need to spend any extra time outdoors when it's that cold.
Mike, I don't blame you for taking down the pear tree if there was a potential for damage to your house, better safe than sorry. Also, I don't like Pears.:)
It was a cool start to the work day at church this morning, but it didn't take long at all before I had my jacket off & working in short sleeves.
The guys cut out a bunch of bushes that were growing around trees near both drives into church. At one time they were pretty Azalea bushes, but now they were just straggly & ugly looking. It looks much neater & cleaner there with them gone.

Filled out the paperwork to re-new my passport, it expired in 2022 & since I have a cruise booked next year decided I'd better get busy & send it in. I go to the nearby post office Tues. morning to have my passport photo taken & will send it off then.
That's about all the happenings in Belleview today, tomorrow will be a full day at church. I'm usually there from 9-12 on Sundays but tomorrow we have a Christmas choir program at 4 so we are doing a final rehearsal at 2:30. The plan is to just go have lunch somewhere & hang out till time to go back.

I was wondering how work day went at St. Mary’s Karen. It sounds like another productive day for everyone.
Passports. We checked ours just a bit ago and they’re good until June of 2026. I guess we should renew them but just for 5 years this time around.
I feel so sorry for all of the folks who’s passport applications and passports are in postal limbo because they were already in the system when the morons went on strike.
How was the graduation Kathie? Lu-Ann couldn’t believe the ”no purses” rule.
What’s new in your neck of Ohio Mike?
Excuse me Ma’am. Any updates on Dave? Or answers to your questions on the way the hospital does things?
Lu-Ann is watching Hallmark Christmas movies. I‘m going to go hit my thumb with a hammer. It’s less painful.
Have a good evening everyone.

I was using my lap top to write this but had too many problems with it. I decided to use my desktop and wonderd if what I typed on t he lap top was posted. After I wrote one sentence the lap top posted that I had to regester which I did not do.
Lee, what is Xmode? I don't keep up with the new technology since I don't drive any more? I agree with Ava, too darned cold to get out.
I hope Dave is feeling better and will get to come home tomorrow.
Karen, we use to keep our passport up to date all year long. We very seldom used it but we wanted to be prepared incase we decided to go on a cruise. Glad you are seeing much better and thankful that you didn't have and accident.
K2, congrats on Eric's graduation, it sounds like you will have a busy day tomorrow.
Tierneys came over last night. As usual we had an enjoyable evening. We are lucky to have them as friends. It was our turn for dessert so we had the kiffles and two different kinds of pies.

I woke up this morning to the patter of little feet rain drops on the window. Sure better than the sound of blowing snow!
How are you all doing today? Well I hope.
Nice to have friends over any time Mike. Especially if pie is involved. X-Mode on the Subaru can be engaged with the touch of the screen in rough or slippery conditions. It increases the sensitivity of the AWD traction control system which adds to the stability and control. It‘s still up to the person who’s hands are on the wheel to drive accordingly.
Karen, have a wonderful full day at church.
Kathie, please let us know about Eric’s graduation. There must be pictures. (Hint, hint)
Dave, stop lallygagging around in the hospital and get back home and on here where you belong.
Most importantly, all of you have a great day!

DAVE!
We ALL miss you on here.Hope you are getting better. Time for Kathi to bring in some Jack Daniel’s!
If I lived closer I’d bring you a jar of VICKS! Cures everything.

Graduation was great. Just long enough. Lunch afterwards was good too!

Choir Xmas party was a nice fun gathering Food was more than abundant and hot and good!

Today Art is taping and getting ready to paint the bathroom. It’s easier to paint an entire hallway or bedroom than a small 1/2 bath!

I made a meringue butter cream frosting and filled my choc Whoopi Pies! Turned out good!
Slight drizzle going on here right now! 37 degrees and grim looking outside

Big Lions / Buffalo football game later. GO LIONS!

Mike:Always nice to read about you & Fay having the Tierneys over for coffee and dessert. Pies are always a hit!

Enjoy your day folks and hope we hear from KATHI or DAVE SOON!

Who’s that young man with the cap and gown? Where’d the little boy go?
It’s easier to paint an entire hallway or bedroom than a small 1/2 bath!
That’s for sure Kathie.
37 degrees and grim looking outside
We’re at 41F and it’s so uninspiring and dull that our Christmas lights are on!
GO LIONS!
Go Bills!
…and finally…

Time for Kathi to bring in some Jack Daniel’s!
I’ll drink to that. :beer2:

Thanks for the UPDATE Kathi!
It's not funny at all, but they don't let pregnant women go home until they pee either!
Time to RUN THE SINK WATER for our Fr. Dave.

Yup, "little Eric" is really tall Eric these days. I need to ask him just how tall he is.

The LIONS must have
FORGOTTEN to bring their game plan to the stadium today. Horrible plays. Just think of how many hundreds of dollars some of those fans attending paid for their tickets for tonight! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Dinner is done and Kitchen is closed and I'm off to find a place on the couch.

1st coat of paint is on the walls! :clap002:

Don’t know if it helped Kathi, but I peed. ;)
Not only were the Bengals playing Mike, they won.
See you in the morning.
