Questions about Sabatinis

We will be sailing on the Sapphire Princess in January. John's 60th birthday is on a sea day. I have made 'friends' with at least 4 other couples on the CC board and are corresponding with them regularly and sharing some independant tours with some of them. Some are Main seating, some PC and we are on late traditional. I would like to have a 'surprise' birthday lunch (brunch?) all together, perhaps at Sabatinis.

What time should we book for, to get the best out of the experience?
What food is served there for brunch?
Would I be able to book a table for at least 10 people, presumably on embarkation?
Will we still have room to enjoy dinner that night if we eat the brunch?

Thanks for any help.

Wow that sounds like a really nice party and I think your best bet is to contact the line directly and make your arrangements ahead of time either through your TA or on your own if you have booked this on your own. As for whether you will have room for dinner after brunch only your appetite can be your guide. Certainly the late diners will be hungry enough but the main seating folks might opt for a lighter dinner or room service or buffet later on. You'll have plenty of options. Have a grand time.

When we were on the Coral Princess, Sabatini's had discontinued the brunch. We didn't know this until we got on board. We did eat dinner there one evening and it was quite a spread.

Tahitian Princess also cancelled brunch. Dinner was excuisite...go very hungry.
