Our Air is Booked!

Gram - we are coming in on the 4th also, but later in the day. Maybe we can meet up Friday morning for breakfast &/or bloody mary's somewhere. Let me know if this sounds good to you.

Anyone else coming in on the 4th?
 
We never get nonstop trips from Vegas but I did get good flights from here Going I go into lax and that is just a hour flight and then non stop to NO. Coming in fri afternoon
Return flight I go into Atlanda and only have a hour layover and then nonstop to Vegas
I will take bus from ship to airport

I'm not sure what we will be doing Saturday night. I'll know more when we get closer to leaving. Our Sister in laws family (who we have known for many years) lives in N.O, or rather the town near by. They want to get together one day or night while we are in town. It will either be Saturday before the cruise or Sunday when we return from the cruise.

Maybe we will see each other Friday night at the hotel. I'm looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone.

I am glad everyone is getting their flight arrangements made. Can't make any commitments right now as it is too far ahead. But definitely think we should all get together if possible one day before cruise for either a breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Now to concentrate on what we want to see and do this trip.

I wish I was going to be there! I don't know where everyone is staying but when we were there last year I stayed the prince conti hotel. The rates were really good for any night but Friday and Saturday. It is literally 3 blocks from bourbon street with no noise. It isn't that near the port but there is plenty of taxis available.

We canceled our airfare and we are driving now from our new home in Fla. Only supposed to take 6 hours. Yay!!
 
Donna what day are you coming in? We're coming on Friday the 5th and leaving Monday the 15th. Staying the extra day after the cruise to avoid the crowd.

Still haven't gotten our airfare but leaving from Atlanta has it benefits. I can get Southwest for just a little over $200 round trip.

I think we are coming in on Saturday and leaving on Monday.
 
Called Carnival. They said if I do self embark should be fine. If not there us a flight at 12:20 pm. But it has a 3 hour layover in Charlotte. I will be the first off the ship! lol
