Not what Pucci and I expected

Sorry I can't check in frequently. There is no set schedule to my days - PT and OT can be morning, midday, afternoon. Some days I'm stronger, some days I'm weaker. The wound doctor comes once weekly on Tuesdays, so I won't have an update on my knee until then. The brightest days for me are when the therapy dogs come to visit - so far, I've seen a Maltese mix rescue who has a great personality, a Golden Retriever and a Lhasa Apso.

I am now keeping up with work to keep my mind active on "other" things.

Thank you again for all your good wishes, prayers, cards, gifts, flowers, plants...and DUCKS!

Dear Shipmaven - glad to read that all is well. I've been thinking of you and Pucci and I know that he misses you so much, as you miss him. Hopefully you will both be reunited soon. I wish you the best in your healing and hope that after this stay in rehab you will be fit to go. Varoom-varoom!!

All is well here, you just keep getting better and better and we will talk once I get home.

Sounds like everything is going well -- keep up the good work. Having OT an PT can be a grind.

Glad you get to have visits with the therapy dogs. They can certainly brighten people's lives.

Mary Ann, I hope you are doing better and better everyday. I sure hate that you are not able to see Pucci but I understand how difficult it would be for the both of you to part at the end of a visit. Glad you have the therapy dogs to visit and brighten your spirits. You remain in my thoughts daily.

To think Mary Ann just wrote this yesterday with no clue what the next day would bring........... I've just found out from the thread on the main chat forum and I'm so saddened so came to check here to see if I'd missed a decline in health........ it seems it was just as much a surprise to her as it was to us! We'll miss you so much on the boards and at sea. Feel so bad for Pucci.
