I am going on the Conquest(montego,cayman,cozumel). I would like to find shore excursions without going through Carnival. I don't want a middle-man....... Any help would be great.........
Cozunel is no problem. Very safe, lots of taxis, extremely tourist friendly. The same goes for Grand Cayman. You can just grab a taxi and head to any beach at both ports.
I can not say that I feel the same way about Jamaica. We have been there many times and I still feel more comfortable using a Carnival shore excursion or at least using a recommended independent tour.
