Went to boot up my computer the other day, and I got this long involved Exception error that ends in TrapDis. I rebooted, and it came up, and worked fine. It just did it again, so I called my IT specialist son and he said this is a new one for him.
So, Google searches turned up not good information. Several different answers from a worm to "if it is under warranty return the sucker, its trashed", (it is not under warranty). Finally he found an answer on the Microsoft website, apparently the OS reload we just did is corrupt and needs to be done again. And of course, he is booked solid for the next 2 weeks, did I want to try it myself??? HA!! I REPEAT HA!!!
So for now, the answer is not turn off the computer because it apparently has something overall to do with loading Windows. So, I have spent the afternoon backing up files, AGAIN, and hoping the rain does not knock out our electricity.
Technology, bah humbug!!!!!!!!!!!
