I just received this message from my former classmate's sister:
“Arnie†had surgery for a brain aneurism on Oct 27th which required 8 stints (surgeon had not done more than 5 prior to Arnie.) He remained at St Luke’s in Houston in and out of ICU due to difficulty swallowing and food entering lungs, pneumonia, physical therapy to relearn to swallow and some right side weakness. He finally went home last Tuesday, Dec 6th. But, he was whisked by ambulance to hospital near his home Thursday, Dec 8th and again has pneumonia and a kidney problem. He is responding well to antibiotics but he has been through so much in the last 6½ weeks. I feel that positive reinforcement and prayer certainly could help.
She asked if I could put him on any prayer lists I knew about, and of course, I told her I would be happy to do this for them. I've known both of them since junior high school, and if anyone can make a complete recovery, it would be Arnie.
