Anyone out there sailing on the Miracle May 16th from Baltimore with kids? We have three small children and two of them will probably be participating in some Camp Carnival activities. Ages 3 and 5.

Two months to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are sailing on July 3rd from NY, but I am curious. What kind of cabin(s) did you get with 3 kids? I have 3 boys...12, 15, and 16 and we got 2 balcony rooms on the main deck, but not connecting as the connecting rooms only sleep 2 (or so they said!) I would have preferred connecting, even though these 2 are right next to each other. One room has 2 lowers and the other has 2 lowers and the bed that pulls out of the ceiling. (believe it or not, the 3 of them are already fighting over who gets the "pull down" bed...they all want it. How weird is that??? Have a great trip!

Hi green_eyed_lady ~

We are also traveling with my parents and my sister and her boyfriend, so we got 3 cabins. We got cat. 6A -- I'm not sure what deck -- it's pretty low, I think. Anyway, My husband and I and our 3-year-old and our 10-month-old are assigned to a cabin. My 5-year-old is assigned to the same cabin as my sister and her boyfriend -- he got the 3rd person rate this way and it was cheaper than getting two cabins for my family of five. Our five year old will sleep in our room (we're really not letting him stay with my sister and boyfriend -- that wouldn't be very nice -- hee hee). Officially, they said you're not allowed 5 people to a cabin, however our t.a. told us it doesn't matter how you actually sleep, so the five of us shouldn't be a problem -- a little cramped maybe, but we're good sports. They told us that our cabin would have two lowers that convert to a king and two uppers. The 3 and 5 year old will sleep up top and we'll request a crib for the baby. Our children are severely spoiled by my family and I know, without a doubt, that at least one night our older two boys will be sleeping with Grandma and Pappy. If a problem should arise and the staff tattletales, then we'll adjust. Heck, we don't care . . . we're just so happy to be cruising as a family. Also, our t.a. told us that she would request adjoining rooms or rooms side-by-side, I don't remember which. But we haven't gotten our docs yet so I don't know if that'll happen. We'll see. I can't wait!!!!!!! Happy travels to you!!

Jamie,

Thanks so much for the info. Sounds like you're going to have a great time with all that family...I would think the TA is correct, that once you book and pay it probably doesn't matter which cabin everyone sleeps in. I hope you'll post a review when you get back since you are going before us. Enjoy!
