See you all a week from Thursday!!! E will call me to let me know where to meet. It's looking like Quincy Market, although I can easily get to the cruise terminal.

I think you're going to be in for a treat with the foliage. The leaves in Boston are still green, for the most part, yet many trees are starting to show a little bit of yellow. Also, if you haven't seen it yet, the current issue of Cruise Travel Magazine has an excellent article on Bar Harbor.

In my researching mode yesterday I finally bit the bullet and pre purchased the Old Town Trolley Tour tickets for Boston. With the online discount and senior citizen discount  I figure $70 was a good deal for 2. Besides I also read in reviews where RCCL charges $10 pp for the Bus to Quincy Market and the waits can be more than an hour. Figured if I subtract that fee from the Trolley Tour price its $25 per person for the Trolley Tour and it also comes with a Harbor Tour as well. :boogie: From looking at Black Falcon Terminal on Google Earth and the map for the OLD Town Trolley it looks like pick up with Pre Purchase tickets might be right at the end of the terminal. As Lisa mentioned however there is NO ticket booth at the terminal so only folks with Pre Purchase tickets can get on the tour here. :madd: Not sure what EVERYONE thoughts are but I know I can push one wheelchair if need be from the ship. For anyone sure that they want to take this tour its probably wise to Pre Purchase IMO as the price is cheaper even if U still wish to take the BUS to Quincy Market and board there. The Link is below again for anyone wishing to take a look and print out maps and info.

I think I might just order tickets for Bill and I too. I called and they accommodate folded wheel chairs and I can fold my scooter up so it sounds like a good plan.

I think I better order some tickets today too. If its only a block I can wal it as long as I go slow. One less thing to fold & stow.
We will see how far it is when we get there.

Well it looks like the Bucketeers are ready to invade Boston!

Since today was the last day that Bill was driving into the city for overtime (and by the way at 11pm he still isn't home..looks like it will be till midnight) he came by my office took me to lunch and we put the new/used Easy Travel scooter that is just purchased into the back of the Prius. I was AMAZED on how easy it was to fold up....though it is heavier then my Travelscoot is was much easier to fold up! LOL Jan and I will have to flip coins on who will use which scooter

Actually Jan the best way to decide is which one will get through the door of your non-handicapped room the easiers

So happy to be able again see the friends who have made so many cruises possible for Paw and I. I have the group pictures around this room and it looks like we girls always manged to stand near each other now you might have to hunt leatherneck and E but they aren't far. We have had so many great cruises but this one has to be all time best. Thanks kids.

Maw I too have my group cruise pictures right here where I spend most of my time. They are either hanging on the wall above the desk or are on the top of the desk.
Brian got out a bunch of my photo albums of past cruises the other day & was showing them to BJ & letting her know some of what she is in for. She is really excited now & can't wait for Weds to get here. She said yesterday the people at work can't wait for Weds to get here either because all she talks about is that she is going on a cruise.
I have meet so many wonderful people on all the group cruises that I have been on. Now alot of them are almost like family.
I too think this will be the best, I'am so grateful for all the help of my traveling friends & I know the way this cruise came together at the last minute it was meant to be. With the smaller groups it is easier to chat with each other more often. It will be grand.
Let the party begin.

Preview of Boston foliage... while leaves on the trees are still mostly green, they are definitely starting to turn. I took this photo yesterday in downtown Boston. You'll find more color when you ride past some of the parks as they have a greater variety of trees. Also, a lot can happen in a week!
