maws Bucket List Cruise - 9 Night Enchantment of Seas Can/NE 10/6/11

Another question for you Bucketters....have any of you been able to request luggage tags via on-line? I've been trying for over 6 weeks and have even called RCI for support. they said to call Skyscraper. Jenn at Skyscraper said that the on-line request should be able to be made in a week....and yet I still can't do it on-line. Now at just a little over two weeks out I doublt they will have time to mail them.....looks like I'll have to get tags at the port.

I have been dreaming of those oatmeqal cookies E. Jan you are not to let me eat that much icecream you and Bill have to eat my share(well maybe we should restrict Bill's intake some too.)
We have anytime dining.

Just dreaming of this cruise. Hugs everyone.

We requested and received ours about 2 weeks ago. :clap:I would continue to try requesting them Denise but in the likelyhood they do NOT come it should be NO problem. I have seen MANY filks get ones put on at the port by the porters and its worked out fine.

Note too self ... Make sure maw has plenty of cookies and that paw takes it easy on the soft serve ice cream. I am sure we can work something out on the dining end as we have always had to do the onboard Maitre'D visit when sailing RCCL and never had any issues. Dreamin along with U maw that the next 16 days pass quickly.

Well RCI told me my luggage tags have been mailed out but they couldn't tell if they were mailed to me or Skyscrapers LOL. When we sailed Enchantment in July we didn't have tags since we only booked 4 days out....wasn't an issue so I now we will survive LOL. Just getting antsy to get all my ducks in a row......

I ordered some when I filled out the on-line registration forms.
Don't know if I will get them or not.
Jen said I shouldn't have a problem with the dining when I get on board, hope not, late is just too late for me. I was surprised that early was full.
Maw I can't wait for some of that ice cream, I will watch your cookies for you.

Got the word on scooter storage in Boston. Unfortunately, there's no place to keep them secure. They suggest (as you have, maw) having an escort off the ship, and then back on when you return.

(I'm happy to do both, if they'll let me.... :) )

Thanx Lisa for that info. We will check when we get onboard and see if they can provide assistance at the ports as that will be the case with a few of the ports. I can assist with a wheelchair but I am think we will need a few so will need some assistance from RCCL. My understanding is that they are VERY good with this type of assistance so we will definitely put them to the task in about 2 weeks. For the Trolley Tour can we purchase tickets the day we get there or do they need to be Pre purchased??? Thanx again for your help. :thankyou:

Whats EVERYONE's estimated time of arrival for our ascension on the Inner Harbor Area in about 2 weeks??? We will most likely barring NO traffic messes be arriving midday to early afternoon on Wed. :boogie:

E, I agree that the cruise line should provide wheelchair escorts... they are accustomed to doing so.

As for the Trolley, how many are in your group? If you want to charter a trolley, definitely call them in advance to make arrangements.

Lisa, there is only 8 of us so a charter might be costly.

E I expect that if Maw/Paw's flight gets in at 10:30ish by the time we get luggage, and the scooters loaded up it will be close to noon before we arrive at the hotel too...barring any traffic concerns on 1-95 AND the friendly skies

Only 8 Lisa and not sure ALL want to do the Trolley so it probably an individual booking rather than a Group I would guess. So if they do same day bookings it might be easier for those wanting to make a decision that day.

Wow 10:30. I was thinking that perhaps we could swing by the airport on the way by and see if we could help out in maybe getting maw & paw to the ship. Not sure we could get there by 10:30 though but we could play it by year and stay in contact via cell phone. :boogie: Only issue would be the luggage as I am not sure we could get it in our itty bitty Accord.

I imagine your drive to Bmore will be close to a 6 hour trip, depending on traffic...that is leaving 0 bright early....though I would think there would be room in the truck for the scooters AND luggage, as long as it isn't raining.

Sounds like a Cell Phone decision on the 5th.

So nice to be traveling who let us leave the worrying to you all. We can get a taxi to hotel as long as scooters get there.

Dr even give me a lecture today no traveling by PU. He was telling us how great the Jahn Adams house was. Thinks we have picked a great time to head that direction and wished us well.

Thanks to the help of Jenn the RCI website FINALLY has my e-docs showing and I was able to request my luggage tags...now hopefully they will arrive in time LOL.
