Majesty of the Seas/?'s & kids

We are first time cruisers and will be going on the Majesty of the Seas in October. We are traveling with our two kids (ages 6 & 3). Can anyone tell me a little "inside" info about this cruise ship? What is the formal night like--how formal, what about the kids, etc? Any info would be appreciated! I am excited but also a little nervous about it!! :-)

We just got back. Had a ball. Formal is not that formal. Our friends forgot their siut and fit in just fine with pants and a long sleeve shirt. Do the early sitting if you have young kids because late sitting is a 90 to 120 minute meal. We went without our kids but heard the kids program was great.
