Wow!

Our energy bills don't even come close to holding a candle to that! Our bills are highest in the summer months when we have all the window box units cranking away to beat the Hazy Hots of Joisey, but even then we don't have cost that high. Heck, you could get a winter house in Wyoming and that would feel like a heat wave to you!
Sounds like ya gotta just put on an extra blanket, and sip some brandy, and wait till spring......ehhhh???

Add on top of that our ELECTRIC bill which was $463 this month due to the added costs of plugging in vehicles, garage box heater running constantly, etc.

Yet the Government decided to LOWER our COLA on our paychecks. :X Federal employees used to get base pay plus 25% COLA, but we are currently at 24% and lowering 1% per year until we get down to 14%.

YIKES, Bread! Those utility bills are frightful.

Something needs to change.....let's hope soon.

Dang Tobyn, that's cold. The coldest I have ever experienced is 55 below at Thule, Greenland. I hear you on the heating bill also. This year, our January weather seemed to have started in November and the bills came with it. We have also had tons of snow this year so far.
