July 4th bad time to cruise??

We're cruising July 4-11. Can't find anyone else on AOS, even after searching multiple boards. Just wondering if this is a bad time to cruise, or if we just have the ship to ourselves.

Just a very busy time for all cruise lines as people take this time to celebrate the 4th aboard their favorite ship/cruiseline. Also, booking at this time is higher as far as $$$$ goes.

Right in the middle of the busy season. We sailed on the 4th a few years ago, and it was quite busy.

we're going to be on the Rhapsody out of Galveston on July 4th! I was already starting to wonder the same thing as you had posted! Which ship are you going to be on?

We're on the Adventure out of San Juan. I am starting to count hours!!

We are on the Mariner on the 4th out of Port Canerval. I have already started to pack!
I just expect a lot of people, versus our mid-december cruises..

WooHoo, we're on the Conquest out of NOrleans June 27 - July 4th. Can't wait, six days. Everyone Have a great cruise and a Great fourth of July.

First time cruiser myself... Wife cruised with her parents years back.

Anyone have a clue of theres any cellular coverage for Verizon Wireless (fat chance, I know)...

Nice to see that there are others sailing on the 4th of July. I was beginning to think I was the only one too. I will be sailing on the Legend of the Seas. Would love to know if anyone else might be going too.

Does anyone know, do the ships set off any fireworks on the 4th? Just wondering. Hope everyone has a great time. Take care.
