Just completed first cruise and am desperate to get back on a ship. If we do another cruise this year we'll need to really cut corners! Any suggestions from you veterans????

The Caribbean has super deals from August to November middle of the month..It's slower to sell out,the weather is cooler/chancier with rain..but still a darn good cruise..check out the deals on the links above...:)..Good luck..Joanne

Make a last-minute reservation... Go to the Princess web site under "Specials". Right now they've got a 7-day Caribbean on March 28th for as low as $499. Those deals are almost always out there.

Early June in the Caribbean is pretty good too... right before all the kids get out of school. ...and the departure ports are much less crowded then too, since there are very few ships doing the route at that time.

The peak of the hurricane season tends to have lower prices too...;)

Another good time to cruise is the first two weeks in December. It is after the Thanksgiving Holiday and before Christmas. We have been cruising at that time every year for the past three years.

In 2003 we paid $800 pp for a mini suite on the Grand Princess. I am now looking at prices for this December.

Sept. and Oct. are much cheaper and the first 2 weeks in Dec. Then you can find alot of cruises if you can cruise on a month or so notice.

I agree with the September/October dates. We usually go in October to the Caribbean. Prices are great and less kids. Not as hot then as in the summer also! :USA:AL
