I haven't cruised since September...is Carnival still doing the whole you write a note/email to them & the send you a letter saying you will get a special giftie if you call before your next cruise?

Yes !!! This was our 5th cruise on Carnival and I've written a letter of comments every time! They actually increase the gift each time.
The first couple of times we only had the choice of red or white wine. This trip we could have wine, fruit basket or have our cabin decorated! We choose the cabin decorations this time - it was really lots of fun.
I've already written my letter and already received my letter for our next cruise!
It's worth a few minutes of your time.

After you sail on Carnival, send them a letter telling them what you like or did not like about the cruise. Address it to their corporate office in Miami. 9 times out of 10, you will get a response from them 6-8 weeks later thanking you for the letter and offering you a free gift on your next if you sail within 18 months of postmarked date. Then you call the 1800 number provided in the letter within 30 days of your next cruise, read to them the claim number listed in the letter and you are all set. Sometime during the embarkation day you will receive whatever gift they decided to give you. We've only been offered wine or a photo coupon in the past and we took the coupon.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to do that when we return next month. Even if we only get a free photo - that's 20 bucks to spend on something else!
