I apologize for being a tad late in getting this up.

Mary Ann came through the surgery with no problems. She slept for several hours yesterday afternoon, and I suspect her "furry lap rug" was pasted to her.

She said for the first time in several years, she had no pain in the ball of her foot. So it sounds as though the surgery was phenomenonally successful! :doubleup:

I don't believe she will be skipping, because the back issues are still there, but every little bit helps, and who knows, her back could be better now that her foot is better.

Hoping her back DOES find some measure of relief. If her heel was so painful that she had to alter how she walked, she could have been causing additional pain to her back by walking and standing differently, compensating for the foot pain. But at least she should stay off skateboards!
