Okay, I need help with excusions. There will be four of us cruising in July (myself 38, husband 50, son 17 and his girlfriend 18)
Costa Maya (port time 12-7) We had planned on going on the beach excursion from Carnival, but I have heard some bad feedback on the beach saying that the beach is nice but the bottom of the ocean floor is moss and sea mass which I would not like. So I would like another sugestion. Then we thought about the atv excursion, but since my son will be short of his 18th birthday by a couple of months he can't do that. We went to the ruins last year and enjoyed that, but I don't want to do that again. Can anyone give me a suggestion for either a carnival excursion or just a beach that we could go to by taxi?
Cosumel (port time 8-5) We had planned on goin on the caterman excursion that Carnival offers, but they only offer it starting at 8 am. Last year we were on the same ship and in port at the same times and there were a morning and afternoon caterman excursion. This excursion was the best thing we did while we were gone and I would love to do it again, but not @ 8am. Does anyone know what happened to the afternoon trip? I don't think the kids will do an 8 am excursion. All the excursions are either 8 or 9 am and for late sleepers this doesn't work well, after all your on vacation and parting the night before. Any help witha suggestion would be great.
