"Two sommelier wine options enhance Signature Services onboard Holland America Line. Hosted fleetwide in the Pinnacle Grill on sailings of 10 days or longer, the Sommelier Dinner event combines at least four glasses of wine with a six-course menu for expertly paired wine and cuisine. For extensive wine sampling throughout all cruises, the Sommelier Wine Package features multiple wine tastings, events and selections."

Go for it. Several pax we met on our Prinsendam cruise this past summer greatly enjoyed this dinner. Even if you don't go for the package, I highly recommend dinner in the Pinnacle Grill for what I now gather is a special occasion you will be celebrating. :)
 
The Sommelier Dinner package was offered on Volendam when I sailed on her without a group. It was lovely.

Whether or not it's the Sommelier Dinner, I KNOW this foursome will be dining in the Pinnacle Grill. :D
