Hi,
Have decided not to do tour on Grand Caymen, having been to the stingrays once before (friends of mine going though are going to go and use either Capt Marvins or Capt Bryans). I'd like to go to a beach for a few hours - somewhere along 7 mile beach - are there any hotels there that welocme cruise passengers?

Try Cemetary beach. Not to many facilities but beautiful and quiet.

The Marriott Courtyard on 7 mile beach will give you access to the beach for $10.00 per//person. This does not include use of their pool.

mel47- It is 5 miles from the pier to Courtyard Marriot.

pmccue- All beaches are free to use but you need to look for the public beach access signs. Here is a link to many beaches on the island.

Last time there, we used the public access right next to the governor's mansion. There's a dream job! No facilities, but very quiet, secluded. We were the only ones there.

So do the Cab drivers know where the public access is to the beaches? Does anyone have a list of where they are located?

Last time we just winged it.. but would like to know exact locations..
