Good Sunday Morning Afters. Well this looks like the best day of the Weekend. It is sunny and will reach 80. Yesterday was cloudy and cool much of the day. Tomorrow they are saying rain with the chance of thunderstorms.

As soon as I can drag the man out of bed we are going to prime the deck. Yesterday we didn't dare try, it looked like rain. Then we are going to watch the Indy race and then go back out and paint. Hopefully the primer will set up quickly. Woo hoo looks like the perfect day for painting. I didn't plan any big meals for the weekend we have too much to do.

Haven't made it to the garden shop or Big Lots yet. Maybe later today or even better tomorrow since the weather isn't going to be great.

The area here seems very quiet. I think alot of people went away for the long weekend. And when I was at the grocery store yesterday morning saw lots packing ice in their coolers and filling up their vehichels with firewood. When we went to Home Depot last night it was very quiet and all of the bars were quiet too. So it appears the price of gas hasn't slowed down many.

The news photo of the tornado damage here is incredibly sad. That series of tornados did destroyed so many homes and farms, and so many people lost so much. It is a miracle that only one life was lost. People are finding their belongings from the second day's tornado miles away in corn fields. So sad.

Well that is what is on the agenda today afters. What's up at your house?

A quiet day at our house BJ plan to grill some burgers sometime today and watch TV read and in general keep the feet up. Looking for Brenda and Billy to drp by sometime today. Take care and don't work to hard take some good wiffs of those flowers along the way.

Good Morning Judy and Maw! Sunny and cool here by the water this morning. I've got the coffee on and am getting ready to head out to the deck. I have some homemade blueberry muffins and my cereal and I should be set for a few hours. After that I will putter and wait for dh to get home. Tonight I think might be hot dogs, corn and potato salad but we'll see what the dh wants for dinner.

Judy - Hope you get some time this weekend to sit and enjoy your flowers.

Maw - Have a nice visit and keep those feet up.

Hello eveyone! Been a lazy am here and enjoying it. Jim is off to get an anniversary party going at the club. I need to get a shower and cleaned up. We are heading out for a ride and a bite to eat.

Beautiful day here and we are going to go out an enjoy.

:wave I slept till 10AM after my 3-11PM got home at Midnoc.. visited with Mark ,and then rested in this AM.. got to Big Lot's for HUGE sale.. got the Queen mattress set we had wanted, when Mark had gone in..

the guy he'd known for years told him to wait 2 weeks and get it today instead..:grin so we did..it was on even more sale, and a bed it had been brought back with an OOPS to it.. so instead of 400.00 it was "as is" for 50.00 and we got it.. just needs some new slats, and a bit of cover on the side slats. and it's covered by the new bedspread too when we get it up..

got a home -made pizza in the oven.. it's brunch..our BIG treat for the weekend!!..we grill all the time.. so I just churned out the dough and made it, and it's baking..we have pot roast for a late supper fater I get out of work it's in the slow cooker since 7AM..

and I have to go on duty for a bridge shift of 5 hours 3-8PM..

watered all of my flowers agin, and oh la la are they happy!!.. Mark stripped and made the bed, while I did the pizza, sheets churning, AND they'll go out on the line to dry..

I'll watch the Coca Cola 600 with him after I get home..
