Following the earlier thread on the higher price ... In one way, the slightly higher price was a factor in our choosing this cruise. With other very similar cruises being offered for the same time frame, we're thinking that those with children will tend to gravitate away from the Jewel. Maybe I'm just geting crankier in my old age, but I prefer cruises with fewer young people on board. Our recent Mediteranea cruise only served to reinforce that view.

Good morning Jewel PC Cruisers!!! We are one day closer to our Canal!!! 
Calgon - For THE week that we are sailing, the prices I am finding are comparable to the Jewel. I am seeing lower for other dates, but not ours. And, since for this cruise I can only go this week, then I'm good to go. Not getting back until Monday the 2nd is a stretch for me though at work - but I can and am doing it!! I couldn't have come if the days had been set up like the Emerald, where it came so far into the week, Wed I believe, for arrival back. Yippee - we are going to the Panama Canal!!!!

Good Morning!!. On 10 day cruises and during the school year, usually there are not many children aboard
I too am not crazy about kids running the ship.
That why my last six cruise were on HAL.

Good Thursday Jewel PC Cruisers!! We have rain!!! We need it so badly. We think we are caught up now from our drought of last year though, so that is good. I love a rainy day, or two, then thats it!!

off because it was very slow at work. The weather wasn't great but any time I can take time off from work
