What time is a good time to get to the pier. We have express check-in. I thought maybe 11:00am???

If you are cruising out of Fort Lauderdale, I'd aim to be there around 11:00 - 11:30. I have been on 21 Princess cruises and almost always am on the ship by noon.

We are leaving out of Fort Laderdale on Sat 4-12-03. I know the last time we went on the Sea Princess we were on the ship by 12:00 pm. Just thought I would check and see what time everyone has been getting on the ship. Does anyone know how the weather has been?

We have had the same experience as CruiseAholic. On our two previous cruises out of Ft Lauderdale (one on the Golden) we arrived around 11 AM and were on board well before noon.

If out of Ft. Lauderdale, then I agree with 11:00am being a good time to get there.

If the Golden is as efficient as the Grand, you will be able to get on board by 11 AM. The disembarkation on Sunday was the most painless I've ever been through.

Wednesday, April 9. I live in Ft. Lauderdale area. We are in for some beautiful weather the next couple of days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). It is suppose to be a little cooler than we have been experiencing. Enjoy your cruise. Here is your forecast: FRIDAY-Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. West winds 15 to 20 mph. FRIDAY NIGHT-Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. SATURDAY-Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. My husband and I are going on the Grand Princess June 22. I can't wait.
