Getting off Royal Caribbean early?

The airline just changed my return flight home from 12:35 to 09:35am on October 20th. Freedom of the Seas in Miami, I think if I hurry I can be at Miami airport no later than 0815. Any thoughts or advice?

Yikes, normally they let you carry your own luggage off around 7 I believe, it all depends when customs clears the ship , normally going thru customs is a quick procedure, airport is about 20 mins from port . Good luck.

I would not do it. To many chances of the ship coming in late, customs at the pier and at the airport and traffic getting to the airport.I would call the airline and tell them your getting off a cruise ship and 9:35am flight is not acceptable.

I wouldn't do it either. Traffic to the airport could be a nightmare.
There could be so many other variables to get in your way.
Call the airport and work something out with them.

Thanks everyone that responded, they changed the flight again to 6 am departure so I was able to cancel and rebook a flight with another airline for the afternoon
