Getting to the ship is a pretty important part of going on a cruise. What is your usual/favorite way to get there, do you use the cruiseline transfer, super shuttle or equivalent van service, taxi or limo or all of above depending on what port you sail from.
Seeing it is a long way from any cruise port for me I take a train to the port city and arrive a day or more early. I stay in a hotel so I will either take a shuttle if the hotel has one or take a taxi to the ship.
We come in the day before so that we have time in case of any emergency. Then we usually just cough up the bucks to take the ship transport. to the ship I imagine this next year will be different though.
Flight plus taxi or hotel shuttle is the usual way. Have made a few Royal Caribbean cruises out of Stockholm and then I drove to the port.
If I do one of the ferry cruises I drive to port and park my car there. The last two ferry cruises I have parked onboard the ferry, as it has been ”special” cruises during the pandemic.
