It depends on what you like to do. In Labadee for example, about all there is to do is beach activities, like snorkling, swimming and related things. In San Juan and Nassau there is a multitude of activities. Be a little more specific on what your interests are and you will find a lot of people on these boards will be giving you more ideas than you need. =friends =handshake =lolgang

In labadee enjoy the beach and swimming area.

In Nassau, I would suggest snorkeling

In San Juan, Do the fort on your own. An easy walk or if looking for more do the rain Forest. Many cabs waiting who can do a good tour

Labadee is befiantly a beach and watersport day, not much other choice there. San Juan isn't really a beach day, it can be but I don't think much of the beaches there. It would defiantly rank third for beaches out of those 3 ports. It's more of a touring day, like some people have said. You can go visit the old city and the fort or the rain forest tour. As for Nassau, head over to Paradise Island, just a 5$ cab ride. Over there ar the nicest beaches. It is alos where Atlantis is (the largest island resort in the world) You can buy tickets to see the Aquarium but you can't use the water park. Nassau alos offer a few differant booze cruises which can be fun for a few hours. They take you snorkling and drop youaoff at a secluded beach for a bit. Another place just a short ferry ride from nassau is blue lagoon island. This is a private island meaning you have to book excursions there, you can't just get dropped off and relax on the beach. This is also home to Flipper (1996). And also where you can do the dolphin swim. Another excursion there is just a beach day, where you hang out at the lagoon swimming and relaxing in hammocks and are suppiled a nice buffet lunch. Snorkling is a large part of alot of the excursions in nassau.

I have never encountered a great place for snorkling near the public beaches, don't get me wrong there are lots of calm water areas you can go and have crystal clear water it's just that there isn't much fish there. If lots of fish is what you wanna see you should you should take an excursion, don't know which one is best.

Terrific snorkel tour is Stuart's Cove. Nassau: “Snorkel Bahamas Adventure†is a 5-½ hour trip operated by Stuart’s Cove. On a previous excursion I went on the impressive Athol Island snorkel. This Stuart’s Cove outing surpassed all of my previous experiences, including Athol Island. The boat trip is @ three hours, and visits Schoolhouse Reef, the spectacular Golden Key Reef and finally a “swim with the sharks†at ‘The Wreck of the Bahama Mama’. I have never before witnessed such a number and variety of fish as at Golden Key. There are never-ending fish, large and small, singly and in large schools. The floor is decorated with huge, magnificent coral formations of all shapes and sizes. While there, a shark cruised past our group. He obviously thought this was his ocean and didn’t know, nor care, that we weren’t scheduled for a shark encounter until after Golden Key. Surprisingly, getting in with a dozen or so sharks is not frightening. I suspect we were too caught up with their grace and magnificence to be scared. The fact that the boat captain hadn’t lost a diver in twelve years was also encouraging. This is a five star, gold medallion, prime trip, not to be missed!
