By all means bring costumes. There's usually a party in the disco for adults and one in the teen disco for the kids. Sometime they have the kids from camp Carnival trick or treating around the ship in costume. The best part of the night for me is the costume contest, it's hilarious. On my last Halloween cruise in 2008 there were over 400 entrants.
They set up "trick or treat stations" in places like the pool bar, the spa, shore excursion desk etc. They'll publish in the Capers where the trick or treat stations will be.
We are on the same cruise. GF is dressing in an angel's costume, and it's Elvis for me. DD hasn't decided yet, but we will be in costume for Halloween.
