Hey Chris. Sorry, I didn't state that well. I meant 1/2 of the ticket price, not our bar bills. Hell that would cost them more than what we paid to get on the boat, if they paid our bar bill. We already received our money VIA direct deposit. Hmm, wonder if, "the check is in the mail".

They could at least have 1/2 price drinks during the times when you are supposed to be in port.

Man where were you when we were stuck out there with no hope, 1/2 price drinks during port times is genious. Wish I would have thought of that and suggested it to the cruise director.

FYI- I got my refund from Carnival. Check your credit cards. It was a little more than 50% so there were probably port charges on top of that.

yes - the port charges were included too i beleive. we got ours credited back to our credit card a few days ago.

and darryl - we need to look at going celebrity next time! now that's what i'm talking about!!!!!!! THAT is taking care of your customers! and guarantees a repeat cruise!
are you and jenn going to book your next carnival cruise anytime soon? we've kinda already spent our refund money on landscaping - the front yard was looking a bit shabby! i think if we do - we might just do a one port stop next time - and definitely not on the ecstasy - i want a new ship this time - i know every INCH of the ecstasy - what with being on it for 5 freakin days straight! i would like to explore a new ship this time around. but maybe shorter so its cheaper. and in the future i think we will just opt more towards GOING to cozumel or wherever - not a cruise. well maybe just not carnival - and a more ADULT ship. TOO MANY KIDS!!!!!!!!!

Hey Chris. Sorry we have been going crazy this last week or so, like normal. That time of year for you teachers, TAKS testing what a great thing. Not sure about taking another cruise, especially on Carnival. We are talking about taking a long weekend this summer somewhere, maybe around San Marcos to float the river. Just enough water, plenty of beer, and I don't have to worry about the inner tube breaking down. LOL. I think if we ever take another cruise it will be Disney, Princess, or Royal Caribbean.
Hope all is well with you. I guess we have all gotten the frustration out about the cruise. A lady I work with told me the first cruise she ever took was on some no-name cruise line that literally converted an old Russian war ship into a cruise liner. Needless to say she said it was not very elegant, nor very comfortable. I guess there are worse things in the world than sitting on deck all day and drinking. Hmm, Like working all day.
