It's a Mega ship, fairly new, so I'm hoping that when we go on our 10 dayer we can do laundry, iron, and all that fun stuff! (right!)

In addition to not letting you wash and iron, they won't let you cook or clean dishes, either LOL!! Hey--it's a vacation! Rinse your drawers out in the sink, and pin them to the balcony! Brings to mind thoughts of Granny doing laundry in the "Cee-ment pond" on the Beverly Hillbillies! Have fun, and let the steward fold your socks!

Glo...Randy is exactly correct!! The fee for laundry service is not very high at all!! Relax and let them do it for you.

Yeah, you guys are right. Let them do my laundry. On my 1st cruise, we visited my SIL in San Diego and did laundry at her house.. kinda nice.. now, who lives in Alaska who will let me do laundry at their house? Hmmmm???....

To re-state what others have said, no it doesn't. In fact, none of the Celebrity ships do. This is a dying concept. In fact the new HAL ships don't have laundry rooms any more. They have more cabins. Your only option is the sink in your room or the ships laundry service.

I was hoping to be able to pack less, and wash more. Don't think I want to do jeans and cords in the sink. If I do, you think I can hang them off the balcony to dry outside? LOL! I guess for 10 days we WILL use the ship services...always looking for a way to conserve $ -- for that next cruise!
