Go to the boards on Cruise Critics and you may be able to find more of your fellow passengers there. I am booked on the 5/3 sailing of the Dawn. There are lots of folks on the Cruise Critic website that I have met. Infact we have 83 and counting people showing up for a cruise critic party the day after sail. Also have booked a few independent tours with some of them. Should be a blast. BTW, I love dogs too!!!
