Celebrity Equinox @ddicts Group Cruise on 2/26/2010

U can guarantee that Cousin E is gonna find the perfect location for your Office and it will NOT have to be indoors this time. :boogie: Unless of course U count the Solarium Pool as indoors. :confused: Mike & Darlene ... maws Office is one of the BEST additions we have on the Group cruises as it gives a centralized meeting spot for EVERYONE. :clap:Now we just have to come up with a name for the Breakfast meeting gang??? Perhaps ... maw & paw's table where NEVER has a BAD Meal been served. :banana:
 
Time to PUT YOUR Thinking Caps on!!!

As we are nearing the 150 Day mark if we wish to have an OFFICIAL Group Name for this cruise its time we get a move on. :confused: So put those thinking caps on and lets come up with an appropriate naming for what is gonna be another fantastic gathering of Cruise @ddicts at Sea. :hammer: Could be difficult to use the ships name (Equinox) to come up with a name but with the creative minds we have onboard I am sure we can come up with an adequate naming. :bbat:
 
Paw's been asking what the name is--fianlly after 7 years he is realizing they have all had names. I think he is as excited abt this cruise as in any of the past ones. I chekc in here first each day. What e3xcursions ar3e everyone considering or just floating until nearer time. Read soime yesterday on St. Kitts. If I was a little younger think that four wheeler tour might be fun(not too deifferent than scooters just bigger.)
 
Glad paw is getting excited maw and perhaps we need to put him in charge of the naming since he has gotten a FREE pass for ALL the previous Group namings. :clap:

They have totally redone the pier and downtown area so there should be plenty of shopping opportunities and places for a COLD refreshment. We did a taxi tour of the island 2 years ago and it was decently priced and was VERY informative. They do have a train tour on this island but it priced high and when we saw where it went while on the taxi tour we were glad we opted for that mode of transportation. :banana:

Barbados offers LOTS of opportunity and perhaps a revisit to the Maibu Rum Factory is in order. I catamaran on St. Lucia might be a good fix for that stop. St. Maarten is filled with opportunities and shopping is abundant as well as MANY waterfront Beach Bars. St. Thomas is another shopAholic Dream but some MORE thought will have to go into this stop. :hammer:

celebrity equinox @ddicts group 2/25/10

I was going to sign up for the train in st kitts for we love trains and I have heard good and bad reports about it. If anyone is interested in a taxi I would be game for that also. We have never been to st kitts before. We are going with another couple in barbados for the day they have been there before and have hired a driver for the day.

We have done Private Taxi tours on BOTH St. Kitts and Barbados Audrey and U are in for a treat as there is so MUCH to see on both St. Kitts & Barbados. :thumbup:

Sounds like a Gr8 Recipe for another Gr8 C@ Group Cruise. :dance: Throw in a couple of E Tours and we are ready to Rock N Roll. :banana:

For those of U that subscribe to Cruise Travel there is a nice write up on the Equinox's sister (Solstice). :clap: Raises the excitement level a wee bit as if we REALLY need it. :banana:
 
Was looking thru the Shore Excursions today on the Celebrity site and kudos to them as they seem to have a VERY nice selection at reasonable pricing IMO. If U have NOT had checked them out go to the Celebrity site when time allows. :banana:

Okay Equinox cruisers what can we who are left at home this time think of to get in trouble-we gotta get this thread moving and build some enthusiasm for this cruise. Know the few of us booked now will have a good time but sure hate for others to miss out on fun.
 
maw I send you a pm yesterday about our up coming cruise. bUt when I went back and read the post again they said place was no longer called rick's place will have to look into this again.
I have not done much about cruise lately when E and Red comes back we can start our planning for sure.
 
Hi everyone

I have not been on this board for quite a while but you were all very helpful when we first started cruising. We are from the UK and this will be our first sail out of Florida for 4 years. We were on Solstice in the Mediterranean in September and the ship is fabulous so we are really looking forward to Equinox. I am not sure if anything will ever beat the corner aft FV cabins on the Millenium class though (thanks Lori!). Are you all going to have an @ddicts onboard get together? We would love to join in.

E, Red and our fellow group cruisers,

Rick and I had to make a very hard decision last week, unfortunately we must cancel this Group Cruise on the Equinox. With me having lost my job and the state of our budget being what it is, we just can't spend the extra money at this time. Additionally, Rick can not substantiate taking ten days off in February after starting a new job. Seven is the most we can handle for the moment
Kind Lori is trying to find a seven day cruise for us at the end of April.

We know our fellow group cruisers will understand. Believe me, this decision is killing me. I still want to go. :(:(
