CCL investors get deals!

If you were to invest in just 1 share of Carnival (NYSE symbol : CCL) it will show up on their database that your a share holder so when you book a cruise , tell them that your not only a past guest but also a share holder. They will upgrade your room , send you a $50 comp for drinks , and discount your room... Carnival's stock is only $33 per share currently and even offers a little dividend that you can reinvest back into the stock.
The bottom line is , if your going to go on all these cruises with carnival , better save yourself some money and invest in them

My understanding is that you must own at least 100 shares.

It is also my understanding that you have to own 100 shares and then you get a $100 ship board credit for 7 day or longer cruises and $50 for shorter than 7 days. You also have to provide prove of onwership, just tell them is not enough.

It has been 100 or more shares for a few years now. Before that I heard that it was any number of shares.

if you call 1 800-carnival , they tell you if you're a share holder , they upgrade your cabin (# of shares doesn't matter) but the point of owning 100 shares and getting the discount of $100 is new to me... Maybe I'll just have to buy 99 more shares then ha ha ha..

Its 100 shares and yes, you must provide PROOF. (talk is cheap, it takes money to buy whiskey).

Actually, its a tremendous return just for 100 shares! $100 off a cabin for a $3300-$3400 investment. That's a built-in 3% return on one cruise a year and 6% on 2 cruises per year.

ev - I'm pretty sure if you go and buy ccl shares today then call your travel agent and let them know you'd like to get the investors discount included with this cruise that Carnival will give it to you.. Trust me , they cater to the shareholders big time...
