Carnival Dream 9/11/2010 - I'm Dreaming of a Big Big Big Cats Cruise! The Sequel

Kids....kids....kids....no fighting on the cruise boards. And I doubt any of you have it as good as we do....cattle farms and dairy farms on hundreds of acres just on the south side of our town. Vegetable stands everywhere selling corn picked fresh each morning, berries and veggies like crazy.....Authentic Mexican restaurants (Fiesta Jalapeno) about a mile and a half up the street....and this morning the lake was so gorgeous with sail boats and speed boats...it looked just like the Caribbean.

(Now remind me how highly I talk of Cleveland when the snow falls in 3 months....)

Right now off to the aft for some sunshine!

Ok guys - you might want to check your docs to see if the onboard credit amount matches your invoice. Ours do not match up. I e-mailed Lori/Jennifer to check on it and confirm.

Sheree, per our discussion yesterday, I found the following link regarding Carnival's 110% guarantee policy for dealing with price drops under the "early saver" program. I also found nothing posted from folks stating the drop affected the TA's commission.

Regina and Tommy - the prices seem to have dropped again -it might be worth checking the Carnival website to see if upgrading might be an option. I know you said you got an incredible deal, but you may want to double check just in case!

George I figured out that if you tie a string around the beer bottles and tie them around your waist you would not need an extra piece of luggage. I measured it and with yours , Anne's and Arrielle's height you should be able to walk on with your 4 6 packs. Although I would recommend you wear long pants and Anne and Arrielle wear a broomstick type skirt so that you will not be able to see the beer bumps in your clothes. Tom and I figured we could get 4 beers on board this way too.

I think we may be going there again if these storms keep up. Why is it Mexico is always a blurr for us? Do you think that Carlos and Charlies and Senior Frogs has anything to do with that? I can never remember too much about any of my visits to Cozumel. I remember shopping and then that is about it. HMMM what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico for a reason. BECAUSE NO ONE CAN EVER REMEMBER MEXICO!
