Rescue-- with only one sea day this is gonna be far from a relaxing cruise.

We are still in the planning stages....have not really looked at whats available in the ports. But, I know for sure we will be a Megan's Bay for a beach day and having some frozen bushwackers. How about you<

Just got off Destiny and we had two sea days and boy was i exhausted on Sunday.
from before we used www.godfreytoursvi.com for $25.00 pp we got in shopping downtown 2 hour island tour and two hours on the beach. He picks us up at the ship and drops us of with plenty of time to shop at the stores located there.

Hi Serene56. I am on the Destiny March 11. We are a party of 15.
What did you do on each island? We stopped in Antigua this past spring and did a beach. It was ok but can you suggest anything else. Also We have never been to St Lucia.

Did you feel the upgrade to the Destiny was good. The last 5 cruises were on brand new ships.

Your cruise is a port intensive cruise- you will be off the ship more then you will be on it. Only one sea day which you will spend packing up to go home.
The Destiny is worn down some-- so dont compare it to other newer ships.
Some thing to prepare yourself for--- when the Destiny does not sell out well cabins are offered to locals for next to free.
Most of the music played on the ship is salsa/Latino based so dont expect steel bands playing caribbean music.
We went to St thomas- www.godfreytoursvi.com for 25.00 pp we got to do it all. Shopping, island tour and beach time. I feel taxis here are very expensive and its per person..so taking this tour saved me tons of money.

Dominica we just took a tour with an islander who took us to the falls and an island tour.
