Can you sleep with your balcony door open at night, or would it be too cold?

ok, the balcony doors stay shut at night. I didn't think about idiots coming in that way... I should have. I work in the security dept. of our casomp, and I see idiots every single day...employees and patrons. Maybe if I take some concertina wire... no, no, duckies maybe, no wire...

Glo... just decide when you are there if the weather/temperature will permit you to leave the door open. Personally, I think that especially when you are at sea, it wont be as humid as when in port. Honestly, I dont think anyone is going to scale the ship and come into your cabin.

We were on the Monarch in April this year in a Junior Suite. I don't know if the other rooms with balconys are the same or not. The sliding door stays open by its self. No need to tie it open. We had our door open a lot during the cruise. It will depend on the weather and your personal preferance. Having it open will make your room warmer. I spend a lot of time on the balcony at night. My husband snores so bad I had to take the cushions off the couch and camp on the balcony. I love sleeping on the deck. The cabin next to us had a hammock set up. It didn't look like my balcony had a place to tie a hammock up. You'll love the ship. Have a great trip and enjoy the balcony.
