I don't mind kids as long as they are behaved, as I sure most of you people who have them are. And if you bring them in a bar, that's your choice. I'm not going to change my behavior/language etc with them in the "adult" area, I shouldn't have to.
But PLEASE!!! Don't let them in the exercise room unless they are actually exercising and with you. I see this at my gym at home and I hate it. Some of them run around, playing around with weights and the cardio machines. First they are taking up equipment that is meant for serious ADULTS. Second they are in danger of hurting themselves, or others. I have seen kids workout with thier mom or dad and are great.
The one thing I remember most at a former gym was some giggly 12 year old girls with thier mom, playing around while the rest of us were trying to take an areobics class. One lady fell becuase of thier playing around.
