Cabin Size

I would like to know the size of the atrium view cabin on a Voyager Class ship is.

Okay so here is my story...

I am booked on the Mariner for next year but here is why I ask....I have only been on Carnival and as you know if you have sailed Carnival the rooms are generally big. Well my friends who have only sailed on RCCL went with us on the Glory and when they walked into their room she said "Wow this is huge"!! Well when we walked into our room (same room they had) we said "Wow this is small"!! The cabins on the Glory are smaller than the Fantasy Class and Spirit Class ships. My friend said that RCCL rooms are much smaller.

So I am already feeling a bit closed in so give it to me straight.....are they alot smaller than Carnival??

to do a side-by-side comparison

I did not see the Carnival Glory listed, so I can't help you there.

However, an atrium room on the voyager-class is: 167 square feet.

Our balcony room on the Glory will be 220 sq. Inside cabins on the Glory are 180 or 189 sq.

The cabin size on the Glory is 185. the 220 is for the balcony added on.

Cabins on the Royal are somewhat smaller. But the atrium cabins are ok for two people.

We had an atrium view cabin on the Explorer last year. It was really neat and we'd do it again in a heartbeat. It is standard size with a mini-bar a small loveseat with coffee table and a "window seat" which spans the width of the atrium window and also faces the coffee table. By the way....don't forget to close the drapes before changing!!! VERY important to remember this especially if you're on deck 6!

Happy cruising...
