Hey all!!!! When Courtney and I took the shuttle from Orlando Airport to the Raddisson for our cruise, we used ArtsShuttle! I don't remember the website address or phone #! The driver however was very good and told us touristy info! If we go back to Orlando, I would use them again!!!

I would be glad to hang on to your cooler till the following year.

I have some good news and some bad news... Sara has been promoted to Assistant Manager at her work :) that was the good news. The bad news....... Sara won`t be able to cruise... she won`t have the time in to take off :( Calum is still comming with us:) I get to sopil my grandson for a week :) pay back is hell... now yall know I am kidding right???
 
Congrats to Sara.....but is she going to be able to make it a week without him???? I am sure that is going to be hard on her!

Hope you are all doing well. I just got home from work a few minutes ago and I am exhausted because we moved our offices into our medical building today. I am just pooped....

Hey Jim, by any chance would you take our kid for the summer ;D It would be hard, but we would have to manage :D On Sara, they won't let her have the time off being that this was something planned prior to the promotion? I hate to tell Arrielle, she was looking forward to cruising with her.

The management told Sara she just couldn`t have off for the cruise..she is ok with it. Oh I don`t take kids for the summer just my grandson for a week to cruise and for me to spoil.

Sara works at a card shop in the mall.

I am sure most of you heard about the 4 boy scouts that got killed by the tornado in Iowa at scout camp. This realy hit home. Bub and I were watching TV when it came on.
 
Jim - Bubba's the first person that I thought of when I heard that sad news this morning. How tragic.
 
Ok guys - keep your fingers crossed that we don't have any flight issues. Continental just announced that 12% of flights out of Cleveland are being cut. So far we look good....on the 11:00 news they are supposed to give more details. Everything looks okay for us to get to Orlando when I log into my OnePass, but we don't yet have a plane assigned for our return flight.

Great kitties.....just heard on our 10:00 news that one of the cities that has discontinued flights to Cleveland is Memphis. Guess where our layover is on the way home??? You guessed it, Memphis. Here's hoping they get us on a decent direct flight, or we make a quick little stop in Newark instead......I am going to see if an e-mail arrives tomorrow, and if not, I'll be calling when I get home from work.
 
Hi cats....I don't know why I am so sad about Tim Russert's passing. I called my parents and they are sad too - he's from the same area of south Buffalo that my dad grew up in, so maybe that's why I feel some connection to him. It's strange how people touch you and you don't even realize it. I was kind of teasing my dad asking if he was sure we aren't related since he's Irish Catholic and from south Buffalo, like my dad's side of the family, and his passing makes me so sad and he said he doesn't think so!

No news on the Continental flight situation. I didn't hear from them, and I am a little under the weather today so I didn't initiate anything myself. My OnePass account still shows us as having a return flight, but no aircrraft has been assigned yet. It seems as though there are quite a few flights available on alternate ways home, so I'll give it a couple of days until I find out.

How many days do we have? We must be down less than 90 now, right? I can't do math right now but I know we must be right around there.

Hey all! It is almost my 1st Father's Day!!!! YIPEEE!!!! Happy Father's Day weekend to all the dads here!!!
 
Ditto what Regina said - happy Father's Day to all!

I mentioned that our Continental flight might have issues....well, I was looking at it yesterday and saw that it was actually booked through Continental's partnership with Northwest, so I think my flight will be fine.

We're headed off to our baseball game this afternoon - it's a gorgeous day here.
