Take a Tour don't wander about yourself not much to see or do. Corel Breeze tours are the best one I have ever taken. They have several options including lunch. The other option is cave tubing with Reggie, this is also a blast.

You will enjoy a private tour greatly at this tender port. As said, do make plans for a tour whatever you decide. This is not an area to try to explore on your own. Check under Caribbean ports too and on many other cruise forums for recommendations of tour providers. Reggie Trapp and his family do a great job. I can highly recommend him. www.regtours.net.

In Belize, book a tour from the ship or on your own. This is not a port you want to venture out without a plan. The ship's excursions are very crowded for this reason. There are several independant operators who provide a nice tour in Belize. A couple of them are mentioned in this thread. We personally did the Coral Breeze tour and we echo the comments above....the best we did. It was a highlight of our week.
