Amsterdam 14 day Alaskan Explorer Cruise, 29 June 2012 (formerly July 13, 2012)

Charles,

What Jacquie said.

QUACK QUACK QUACK!!!

Well, Jacquie, DS Charlie has my quackier. So I'll need another one to practice on our balcony early in the morning. :)

I'm sad to report that we have cancelled our Duck Cruise, because the June 29th sailing date just does not work for us at this time.

Jim & Claire,

Sorry to hear that, Jim. It stinks to have something approved and then taken away.

BTW, I don't know if you booked any tours through HAL, yet they are very fast in refunding the charges. I have to say I'm impressed.

I too am sorry that you can't make it. I'll miss you.

I'm still arriving in Seattle around noon on the 28th, for anyone who'd like to get together. We're in the process of booking Westerdam, a 7-nighter which leaves on the 30th.

well we are down to 77 days till we start our cruise to Alaska. I still haven chosen any excusions for the ports that we have not been to before. dd wants to do flot plane flights and I want him to look over the information that I have for him pick the ports he wants to do this in before I book anything else.

Okay, Ducks and DITs, we're down to 11 short weeks till the Alaska cruise. Time to start thinking about what shore excursions we want do in what ports.

Mal and I have taken the Whale Watch from Juneau the last three times and each time was wonderful. We're thinking maybe taking one in a different port.

I am posting the fri countdown today as we are going camping and i don't know if I will have internet service at the lake. We have 10 weeks and 72 days till we sail off to Alaska

Thanks for continuing the countdown, Audrey!

As of today, we have 9 weeks and 6 days until the cruise!

QUACK QUACK QUACK!

Ordinance 32137, approved November 19, 1913, established the dahlia as the City of Seattle's official flower and requested that the Park Board of the City plant and cultivate the flower in suitable quantities to make effective displays in the City parks.

well here is our fri countdown 9 weeks and 4 days till we board the ship for Alaska.
I need to start booking excusions when I get back from the costal I don't like to wait till we get on the ship to do so. We are going to take the duck cruise in ketchikan and in juneau we are going to just walk around. I want to take some kind of tour in the ports we have never been to before. Anyone have any idea as to what you are going I am open. I am trying to keep everything under 100 a person I know dh want to take a flot plane flight somewhere.

Thanks, Audrey! :thankyou:

Yikes! We're down to 9 weeks or 63 days or, for those of us still doing the 9-to-5 bit, 44 more work wake-ups (Memorial Day doesn't count)!

We need to start organizing things. We'll be away June 15th thru 17th, then again June 22nd thru 24th. We're staying overnight at JFK the 26th, so we have to have everything organized longggg before that. Thank goodness

Mariners get free laundry and pressing service!

Lorraine (DD) and I just started looking at excursions. No decisions yet. I know she wants to do the duck tour in Ketchikan. And the gardens in ? Actually I'd like to do that too.

Charles, Bouchart Gardens are in Victoria, British Columbia, and they're absolutely phenomenal! Mal and I went several years ago.

We've done the Whale Watching and Wildlife Quest in Juneau the other three times we cruised Alaska each time was great.
